Our History

Kigezi center for the and population research(KICHAP) was founded in 2020 during covid19 era and it
was founded by a section of Makerere University students doing bachelors degree in population
studies. These students were led by Mr Areeba Hillary who is regarded as a founder of this organization.
Kigezi center for health and population research(KICHAP) was founded on a commitment to serving
others and making a positive impact in our communities. Over the years, we have grown and evolved to
meet the changing needs of our communities, while remaining true to our core values and mission.

Our vision

To become a multidisciplinary center for people experiencing poor health conditions. We strive to create a world where individuals and communities can thrive, and where everyone can reach their full potential.

Our mission

To promote good health and wellbeing of Uganda’s population through mentoring individuals to use their abilities in harmony with universal values of society through partnering with stakeholders and visiting communities frequently.
