At Kigezi center for health and population research(KICHAP), our research activities focus on
understanding the complex issues affecting our communities, particularly in the areas of mental health,
health, and social welfare.

Research Objectives

1. Informing Policy and Practice: Conducting research to inform policy and practice in mental health,
health, and social welfare.
2. Understanding Community Needs: Identifying community needs and developing evidence-based
interventions.
3. Evaluating Programs: Assessing the effectiveness of our programs and services.
